Mercedes-Benz adds AMG Sports package for the 2010 S-Class and CL-Class

If you don’t have enough money to buy the real thing by AMG, you can now for the first time buy the AMG Sports package for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the CL-Class.

With AMG Sports package you surely get the sporty, just without the extra horsepower that AMG models feature.

AMG Sports package includes 19-inch light-alloy wheels with five-spoke design(20-inch are optional), front apron with larger air intakes, rear apron with black insert, side sill panels and rectangular tailpipe trim in polished stainless steel.

Mounted on the front axle there are perforated brake discs and silver-painted brake callipers featuring Mercedes-Benz lettering; the V6 models have a more generously proportioned braking system.

Interior upgrades include wood trim, wood/leather steering wheel in black ash, velour floor mats and sports pedals in brushed stainless steel with rubber studs.

The AMG Sports package is available for all new S-Class models with a short or long wheelbase, as well as for the CL 500 and CL 500 4MATIC. Cost in Germany is between 5831 and 7973 euros (including 19% VAT). Sales will start in June.
