Renntech was founded by Hartmut Feyhl back in 1989, now for its 20th anniversary they will be releasing a modified McLaren RENNTECH 777, which is based on the Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR. Only 20 units of that street-legal track car will be built.

The first example is being built now, and will be ready this Spring.

Renntech has revised the SLR McLaren bodywork and aero package for improved downforce. Despite a big rear winf, splitters, side skirts, a top speed is still in excess of 210 mph.

Renntech engineers have also upgraded the 5.5-liter supercharged V8 engine, with internal and external upgrades and a significantly upgraded cooling system. McLaren RENNTECH 777 develops impressive 777 horsepower.

To get all that power to the ground engineers have redesigned suspension and driveline, heavily reinforced transmission send power to new limited-slip differential. Built for RENNTECH by Japanese supplier OS Giken, the recently-released differential allows for 100% locking between the drive wheels for unsurpassed mid-corner traction. Tires used are Nitto NT-05 on new light 1 piece center-locking wheels.
