Back in 1995 Lotec created the single C1000, a 850 hp supercar for a wealthy emir. Price of that supercar was over $2 million.

In addition to the single C1000, Lotec has also produced a supercar named Sirius. Its drawings were first introduced beginning of 90s and the concept was introduced in 2001. Power came from a twin turbocharged Mercedes-Benz 6.0-liter V12 and was offered with power-levels from 850 hp to 1,200 hp.

Now Lotec is back and updating the Sirius for 2009. Car gets a new appearance and a new engine. V12 engine will be replaced with a supercharged AMG V8. That means less power and also less weight, meaning the performance will stay the same or get even better. With its carbon-fiber body over tubular steel-frame construction the car weighs less than 1300 kg (2866 lbs).

0-62 mph (0-100 km) is expected to take around 3.5 seconds, while a top speed is around 242 mph (close to 400 km/h). If you want one, you will have to spend at least £450,000. Current images are computer renderings, so stay tuned for more details and additional images.
