We have showed you loads of spy photos of the Lexus LFA supercar. At one point it even looked like Lexus might cancel the project, but finally the car is making its world debut and fans should not be disappointed.
LFA will go into production end of 2010, pre-sales of the 500 unit production run start today. Expected pricing is around $375,000.
Power comes from a 4.8-liter V10 mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox. This newly developed V10 produces 560 horsepower at 8,700 rpm and 354 lb-ft of torque at 6,800 rpm.
Carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) cabin enhances high body-rigidity and reduces weight. This unique cabin is 100kg lighter than a comparable aluminum cabin.
0-100km/h comes in 3.7 seconds, while top speed is 325km/h (202mph).
