Lexus will show the convertible IS next month at the Paris Motor Show. Badged as Lexus IS 250 C it will be the third derivative in the IS range.
There is no information will it get a floding hard top or a soft top. We expect it to be a 3-series fighter so a soft top is our take. Power will most likely come from IS 250’s 2.5-liter V6 producing 204 hp.
Rumor is that IS F version will follow sometime in late 2009 or early 2010. 416 horsepower from a 5.0-liter V8 engine should offer serious competition to the M3 Convertible.
In addition to the IS 250 C Lexus will introduce LF-Xh hybrid concept car, LS 460 with permanent All-Wheel Drive and a full-line up of Lexus Hybrid Drive models.
Further information and images will be released at the Lexus press conference at the Paris Motor Show on Thursday, 2 October, at 2.45pm in Hall 4.
