Hyundai is coming out with its new fun and economical car, tentatively called the Veloster. Based on the Honda CRX, it should hit the market as a 2011 or 2012 model. The new car will be be70-80 percent like the Veloster which was released in 2007, that is why its name is not yet definite.
The new car will be significantly smaller than Hyundai’s Genesis Coupe or Kia Forte and will be powered by a 1.6-liter four-banger fortified with direct injection that will give 140 horsepower at a fuel consumption of 40 miles per gallon. It should be reasonably priced, just what the market needs at the moment.
