How not to unload an Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Here’s a good example what happens when the delivery guys mess up. This over $100,000 Aston Martin V8 Vantage ended up at a 45-degree angle what looks to be in front of a dealership. We are not sure about the damages, but the rear does not look too good.
As you can see on the picture delivery guys are not too happy about it either. We would not want to be on these guys shoes if it happened in front of the guys house who ordered the car.
Pretty sure that Aston had the shipping insurance, but still not the kind of picture any Aston fan would want to see.

Ouch! Someone got fired that day (or at least should have been).
Maybe it had already been unloaded, but not backed up far enough away from the truck. The hydraulic gate was raised, lifting the front of the car with it. Just my interpretation.
thats a good point moneypenny, I didn’t think of that, but once I read your comment and looked at it, I bet thats exactly what happened, cause there is no other impact. No broken windows or anything. good call
Whatever happened, that’s going to be a costly one.
How the hell did it stay in that position?
The liftgate broke. You can see the back half of it laying on the ground (the silver diamond thing under the rest of it). The back of the car was on that, it broke, the back half fell to the ground.
Actually, it looks as though things were going pretty smoothly up until part of the lift fell off (that silver plate that is on the ground under the car). My guess is that the car was all the way out on the lift, it broke and then fell backwards. Damn, I should be a detective.
Huh? Are you a moderator on this page jay? Cause I know I posted before you.
as Jay had a confirmed comment earlier it went live before you. Now when you have a confirmed comment we dont need to confirm it anymore.
Cheers.
Oh I understand now. Thanks for responding.
Please tell us where when the misfortune occurred so we know where to queue.
Wow, that looks like some damage, Aston martins are worth a lot!

well, the biggest problem they will need to fix is the fact that THE CAR IS WHITE! who in the right mind would buy a $100,000+ Aston Martin in WHITE?! you would have to be brain damaged. you might as well start drawing mustaches on original Rembrandt paintings!
Meh. That’ll buff right out.
I can’t believe they would do that. It would have been a nice Porsche.
it will be ok just give it to me and ill fix it up and keep it
