Honda’s new sports car

Once again rumors abound that Honda is coming out with a new sports car. Though Honda has announced the S2000 roadster’s imminent demise it is reported that it will also be coming through with a replacement. And not just one. There is going to be a front wheel drive CR-Z hybrid coupe which ought to be out next year; the second one is the one Honda is also working on is one which is a more powerful version with 2 x 2 seating to replace the S2000 roadster.

This model will not have a rear drive wheel as the roadster does, but have a Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system. It will also uses the hybrid system which Honda uses in its other cars. Honda does not have anything to say about the kind of engine this new car will have.

While Honda has given official intimation about the production of the CR-Z hybrid sports car, and canceled the production of the V10 NSX successor last year, it has made no official announcement about the new sports car. As such there is no guarantee that this car will actually be out. Meanwhile customers and Honda fans are waiting.
