While Honda has all but pulled out of the Detroit Auto Show by cancelling their press conference and the NSX replacement, they’re busy getting ready for the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS). The TAS is a lot like the SEMA show in the U.S. and features new products from aftermarket companies and manufacturers show off their newest sport packages.

Honda will bring a couple of Sport Modulo concepts to the 2009 TAS including the Sport Modulo S2000 and the Sport Modulo Fit. The two concepts feature similar, funky fascia designs with LED DRLs placed in the grille and interiors featuring updated materials and electronics.

Other cars that Honda will show are the Racing Modulo Civic Type R, Accord, Accord Touring, Odyssey, Crossroad and a Fit marketed towards 15 year-old girls. The whole range will feature styling enhancements from Honda’s accessory group, Modulo, as well as upgraded navigation and audio equipment.

The 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon begins on January 9th and ends on January 11th.
