Ferrari working on F430 replacement, codenamed F142

Now when the California is making its way into dealerships Ferrari is moving on and working on the F430 replacement.

At first the car spotted looks to be just another F430, but when you look closely you will see some differences. It has bigger air intakes, wide central exhaust under the rear license plate and modified wheel cases on the front.

Very likely it will have a wider track and longer wheelbase. Sticker on the side window shows a codename “F142″.

Rumor is that the new model will be fitted with a 4.5-liter V8 engine and the car will be named F450. Also the body design will change though the overall design language should stay similar to the current F430.

In addition to the Coupe there will be a convertible version (spider) and a performance version called Scuderia. F450 will arrive earliest end of next year so there will be many more spy photos and speculations before its official arrival.
