Ferrari F450 will debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show in October

On Wednesday we brought you spy photos of the Ferrari F430 replacement codenamed F142.

Now according to Autocar F450 will be unveiled already in October at the Frankfurt Auto Show. F450 will have a new look and engine, with some components in the bodywork and chassis likely borrowed from the F430.

F430 was released back in 2004 and is heavily based on the 360 Modena, which debuted in 1999.

F450 will be the first production Ferrari to use green materials and weight reductions seen on the Ferrari Mille Chili concept in 2007.

Current prototype has not given much information on the final look, but insiders say the production will start already in July and that it is one of the best looking Ferrari’s ever.

Power will come from a 4.5-liter V8 that produces over 500 hp.

If the rumors are true then sales are expected to start end if this year or early 2010.
