f450-muleFerrari’s F430 replacement has been spotted doing its thing like a dirty chicken wing around Ferrari’s Fiorano race track.

It was spotted sporting a plain, dull yellow Scuderia body shell. But, you can tell this is no Scudy… Just wait till you hear the 4.5 liter V8 roar.

Ferrari always means business whenever they replace a car. Especially their best selling mid-engine V8 models. The 355 to 360 Modena to the now elder F430. There is no doubt that Ferrari gets better with age and more F1 victories under its belt. But, this could possibly be the best Ferrari they’ve built in recent times. That is, just by the sound of that engine!

Another thing to note, listen to how fast the gear changes are. That’s F1 speeds right there. Let’s just hope we can at least order a manual with this one still. My sources inside Ferrari told me over a year ago but, most people know by now, that Ferrari will not be offering a manual transmission on its cars anymore after 2010. You will have to special order your Ferrari with that type of old-school transmission. Who wants that old untechnological crap in a new technological car? Yes, I’m being sarcastic. Damn, it’s already hard enough to find a manual transmission Ferrari or Lamborghini.

Who wants to start betting on how fast the new F450 will hit 60 mph/100 kmh?

While you’re listening to the video, or watching it, check out our previous coverage of the F450 mules running around town. Word on the street is that the Ferrari will debut the successor to the F430 at the Frankfurt Auto Show this year.
