Essen 2008: Brabham Racing returns as a BMW tuner

Brabham Racing is back after 16 years at this year’s Essen Motor Show 2008 that starts on November 29.

Legendary racing brand is now relaunched and introduces three projects: the BRABHAM BT 92 based on the BMW M3, the BRABHAM BT 60 based on the BMW M5 as well as the BT 70 - a sporty interpretation of the SUV X6.

According to Brabham Racing all models will be using carbon-fiber parts on a wire frame model. In addition to increased performance they have developed an independent high-performance braking system.

Brabham Racing was very successful racing car manufacturer and Formula One racing team. It was founded in 1960, after changing onwerships many times the company collapsed financially in 1992. We don’t know(yet) who is behind the legendary name this time.

Currently only one image was revealed by Brabham with not many details. We will be bringing you more details and images as soon as they come available.
