World’s fastest street legal GPLimousine

Canadian inventor and builder Michael Pettipas has created the world’s fastest street legal GPLimousine. He hopes to break the 300 mph barrier and of course take the current 253 mph record from the Bugatti Veyron.

This surely is one of the strangest looking limos we have seen in a long time. It seat six in bucket seats plus the driver and has no roof.

4-door Corvette convertible for sale on Ebay

Corvette is not a family car. You can cruise it with your girlfriend or a friend. Gene Swatek who has four girls thought the Corvette should be a car the whole family can enjoy.

He took a 1987 Corvette Convertible, cut it in half and made his own steel extension frame members to stretch the Corvette an additional 38 inches.

The rear suicide doors were added as well as the rear leather seats and custom ground effects. The front door opens first, then the rear door can be unlatched from a lever mounted on the frame rail.

Video: Human powered car can go as fast as 60 mph

This human powered car has been built by a company called HumanCar, Inc. It is called FM-4, and it offers space for four people. Two facing backwards and two forwards. To get the car moving they have to use their arms and upper body.

A human powered car will go only as fast as its occupants make it go. Looking at the video they achieve a speed of 60 mph. That sounds dangerously fast on something that Flintstones might want to use. There is also a model with solar roof in the works that costs 15,000 USD!!!! How crazy is that?

Lotus develops Ice Vehicle for the Antarctic Expedition

Engineered by the team at Lotus Engineering, the Lotus Ice Vehicle concept was developed to be taken to Antarctica on the Moon Regan TransAntarctic Expedition. The vehicle will aid the research going on in the region.

To be able to withstand the harsh polar environment, the Lotus Ice Vehicle has been tested in the northern Sweden.

Two door Lada SUV spotted in Russia!

Russians have never been very creative when it comes to making great cars. All they have done is copy others. Most their production models and concepts have been a joke.

Okay sure there are few models that looked great and still do, such as the Tšaika that former Soviet Union big shots drove. Even that car was partly copied, not original work of russians.

Mini Clubman Rickshaws at the Beijing Olympic games

Rickshaws are still used in China to transport people. It is not just a type of transportation. It is more of a symbol and tourists love them. Now MINI China has created a pedal-powered Rickshaw that has Mini Clubmans rear part of the body. Now that is some good advertising! People do talk about the Olympic games and they also talk about the Mini Clubman Rickshaws that have been spotted around Beijing.

According to China Car Times, the body of the Clubman is from Germany and the conversion to rickshaw was carried out in Hong Kong, and then the rickMINI was taken to Beijing to ‘bring good luck’ to the Beijing Olympics.

Custom Volvo XC70 pickup spotted in Sweden

When I think of Volvo I think of something very practical. Now check out this custom XC70 pickup. It was built by a Swedish company called Dalbo Fordonsteknik.

It sure is not El Camino or Falcon not even a new Pontiac G8 pickup, but it sure has its own unique lines and thats what makes it interesting. Maybe Volvo should try something totally new and introduce a Volvo pickup? Or even a bigger pickup based on XC90?

Jeep + Ferrari = Jerrari

Ebay motors does have lot of weird cars for sale, this so called Jerrari is definetely one of the weirdest I have seen in a long time. What is a Jerrari?
It is a custom JEEP. It has a 1969 Jeep Wagoneer body with a Ferrari 365 GT front end.

Story on the car is that car collector Bill Harrah wanted a custom four wheel Ferrari. For some reason Enzo Ferrari refused to do it(I think it makes sense). After that mr. Harrah combined a crashed Ferrari 365 GT front end with a 1969 Jeep Wagoner.

1984 Chevrolet Corvette pickup

A while ago we brought you a video story on a custom Porsche 928GTS that was turned into a 6-wheel pickup. Now here we have a Corvette that has been turned into a pickup.
It was assembled combining a 1984 corvette front end and a 1991 corvette rear end with a functional tailgate. Munci 4 speed and custom wheels and tires. Selling price is not known, but the seller claims that over 115K was invested buillding this dream car.

Actual Batmobile is for sale on Ebay!

How many people do you know that have a Ferrari, a Mercedes, a Lamborghini, or a Corvette? My guess would be there is at least one of these in your neighborhood. Now how many Batmobiles are in your neighborhood. None, because there were a total of 5 of these cars made.

Here it is one of 5 cars that could have been in the “Batman” movie starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson. Five cars were built for the movie and this car is the number five car.

VIDEO: Smart ForTwo is now big enough for ten?

Stretched over twice its normal length of 2695mm to 5100mm (17 feet) long, the Smart ForTwo has been reborn as a promotional vehicle targeted to soft drink makers who can brand the Smaaart with their style and rent on a daily basis.
Despite the obvious increase in size, the so called Smaaart was built using a lightweight allow chassis therefore allowing it to retain the original 600cc engine without sacrificing motorways speeds up to 80 mph.

VW Beetle turned into police cruiser

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Blount County’s newest police cruiser has been turning heads, but whether it could keep up in a high-speed chase seems unlikely.

Assistant Chief Deputy Archie Garner retrofitted a 1973 Volkswagen Beetle to add to the sheriff’s fleet of police interceptors, but with a top-end speed of about 70 mph, he’s not writing a lot of speeding tickets.

Scooter with a Volkswagen Van Sidecar

Here’s a fantastic Lambretta scooter modification for you: a scooter with a VW “Kombi” van sidecar! If there weren’t an actual person on the picture it would seem that is is just a toy. It sure puts on extra weight and will reduce the top speed and acceleration but with such a look it should not matter:)

The limo suspencion is custom made with airbag system.That means Vehicle can be lowered or make it higher with special remote control. It Holds up to 10 passengers.
