Škoda Octavia vRS+ and Fabia vRS+ at the Wörthersee 2010

Škoda Auto displayed two tuned Fabia vRS+ and Octavia vRS+ vehicles at this years GTI meet in Wörthersee. The Fabia vRS+ concept is based on the new Fabia vRS.

The Fabia vRS+ was designed specifically for the Wörthersee event. Its clearly defined shape highlights the optical width of the Fabia vRS+, and its strong character. Unique features included the headlamps and the radiator grille, which give the car a sharp look.

New Škoda Fabia vRS Launches in the UK

The new vRS is the fastest production Fabia ever built, and builds on its predecessor’s reputation for high performance, low running costs and remarkable value for money.

Available as a hatch and estate, the vRS is powered by the 1.4 TSI 180bhp engine in tandem with a 7-speed DSG transmission, with ESP, HHC (Hill Hold Control) and XDS (Electronic Differential System). Acceleration from 0-62mph takes 7.3 secs, with a top speed of 139mph (140mph for the estate).

Škoda unveils Fabia Estate GreenLine II and Roomster GreenLine II

The new model Fabia and Roomster’s have been facelifted and fitted with new technology designed to further reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. The most important innovations include a new engine (1.2 TDI CR DPF/75bhp DPF) with Common Rail , start-stop technology, energy recuperation and gear recommendation.

One of the biggest technological changes in the second-generation GreenLine version is a new three-cylinder turborcharged engine (1.2 TDI CR DPF/55 kW) with a consumption of just 83.1 mpg and CO2 emissions of 89 g/km for the Fabia Estate GreenLine II, and 67.3 and 109 g/km for the Roomster GreenLine II.

Spy shots of the 2010 Skoda Superb Kombi

Yes, Superb is part of the name of the car so we guess it has to be a good one from the Skoda stable. The Superb Kombi car should probably be powered by petrol engines ranging from 125 hp1.4 liter TSI to 260 hp strong V6 with 3.6 liter. Diesel engines should have between 105 and 170 hp.

2010 Škoda Yeti makes a public debut in Geneva

Škoda is extending its model range to five with the introduction of Yeti at the Geneva Motor Show. Yeti is based on the concept by the same name that debuted in 1997. It is 4.2 meters long with five doors.

Yeti is the first SUV model by Škoda, it looks little robust but not bulky. It has a unique front and rear, but the side view reminds us an old Honda CRV.

Geneva preview: Production version of Škoda Yeti

At the Geneva Motor Show next month Škoda is going to unveil the production version of the Yeti. The new model is based on the concept that was first introduced in 2005.

According to Škoda, Yeti is meant for urban and leisure driving. It offers great riding qualities on the road and off-road.

The new 2009 Škoda Octavia in Paris

Produced or assembled in altogether eight countries, the Octavia is Škoda’s bestseller. The rejuvenated version is now coming with a more emotionally powerful design. “The Octavia has always had a special position among Škoda vehicles.
