2010 Saleen S281 based on the 2010 Ford Mustang

Saleen Performance Vehicles revealed the 2010 Saleen S281 at the annual SEMA show earlier this month. Based on the 2010 Ford Mustang it gets the traditional Saleen touch on both exterior and interior wise, plus of course a new level of performance.

Exterior features an understated yet imposing grille and front fascia, and a refined treatment of the familiar Saleen extended rear fascia and trunk lid with a simple, elegant, integrated wing.

What a car – what a price!

The Saleen S7 is a super car which looks cool, is high speed and high priced. This all-American car, made in Troy, Michigan, goes from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds with its 750 horsepower street legal engine and a top speed of 200 mph.

The S7 is not very well known among car enthusiasts despite its fantastic aerodynamic styling, exposed large wheels, great braking system and luxurious seating. It can compete with the best because it is a top of the line model.

2009 Saleen Dark Horse Extreme Edition Mustang

Ford will reveal the all new Mustang at the 2008 LA Auto Show, before that Saleen will take the most of current Mustang with the 2009 Dark Horse Extreme Edition. Saleen will build only 25 of the Dark Horse Extreme Edition Mustangs, production will begin in November.

The Dark Horse makes 620 hp with a maximum torque of 600 lb-ft, thanks to a Port Matched Series VI Integrated Screw type supercharger.

Saleen Introduces New High Performance 302 Crate Engines

Saleen is offering, for the first time in company history, its high performance 302 cubic inch (5.0L) premium crate engines for sale through its Speedlab Aftermarket Division.
The engine will be available in either short block or long block varieties to satisfy the most seasoned of engine builders and power enthusiasts.

Saleen S55 Raptor: Ethanol powered Supercar Concept

New York Auto Show: Saleen is presenting new supercar concept called S55 Raptor.

V8 powered supercar boasts 650 horses and 630 lb-ft of torque.

The engine is mid-mounted and runs on either regular gasoline or 85% ethanol blended fuels.
