Mercedes SLK 55 AMG by VÄTH produces 565 horsepower
The VÄTH V58 is based on the Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG, and features a supercharged 5.8-liter V8 that produces 565 hp and 770 Nm of torque.
Engine upgrades include sports pistons, sports distribution shafts, exhaust manifolds, catalysts of high-grade steel, increased displacement, sports exhaust silencers, polished cylinder heads, revised electronics, a sports air filter and a long-stroke crankshaft.
Kicherer E 50 Coupe based on Mercedes E500 Coupe
Mercedes E500 is the most powerful(that’s until Mercedes decides to introduce an AMG version) production model of the coupe with 383 hp from a 5.5-liter V8.
Power on Kicherer E 50 Coupe is boosted to 424 hp and 550 NM of torque thanks to revised ECU model and a sports exhaust system. No exact details on performance numbers, but the V/max block was raised from 250 km/h to xxx km/h. In addition after the alteration the speedometer can reach speeds of up to 330 km/h.
BRABUS E V12 Coupe with 800 hp
BRABUS E V12 Coupe with 800 hp is based on the new Mercedes E-Class coupe and according to Brabus is the world’s fastest and most powerful Gran Tourismo. It is powered by a 6.3-liter BRABUS SV12 R Biturbo V12 engine that produces 800 horsepower and 1,420 Nm of torque.
It surely is impressive and of course exclusive as the price starts at 478,000 euros.
Mercedes-Benz museum documents over 120 years of automotive history
The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart is a must visit place for any car enthusiast. The museum show room is on nine levels and covering a floor space of 16,500 square metres, the museum presents 160 vehicles and over 1,500 exhibits.
During a two-hour tour of the exhibition, visitors experience a unique journey through automotive history from 1886 to a modern day.
BRABUS GL 63 Biturbo WIDESTAR Version
BRABUS GL 63 Biturbo is for those who find the AMG modified GL not powerful enough. This luxury SUV is powered by a BRABUS B63 Biturbo 6.3-liter V8 engine with 650 hp and 850 NM of torque.
Visual upgrades compared to the stock GL include BRABUS WIDESTAR body kit and forged 23-inch wheels. Also part of the standard equipment of the BRABUS GL63 Biturbo is an exclusive interior with leather and Alcantara.
Mercedes SLS AMG production begins in Sindelfingen
Following its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show last fall, series production of the SLS AMG is now commencing in Sindelfingen, the largest of the Mercedes-Benz production plants.
“Made in Sindelfingen also stands for the very highest production and product quality where the SLS AMG is concerned,” says Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of Daimler AG and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Cars.
Geneva preview: Carlsson C25 based on Mercedes SL 600
Mercedes tuner Carlsson has released first details about a limited Super-GT called the C25, which will make its world debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
Based on the powerful Mercedes SL 600 it will be limited to only 25 cars and therefore ensuring maximum exclusiveness. According to Carlsson maximum exclusiveness is ensured by only one automobile per country.

Mercedes is cold weather testing their future models in the Northern Scandinavia to make sure that their luxury vehicles work in every possible weather condition.
One of the cars that they are testing there is a next-generation ML-Class, which features all wheel drive and tons of high tech goodies to make it safe in snow.
Mercedes-Benz SL Night Edition and SLK Grand Edition
Mercedes-Benz is now offering two new special editions of the current generation SL and SLK before the new generation arrives later this year.
SL Nigh Edition featurs an optional designo magno night black matt paint finish, while the special designo graphite paint finish makes the SLK Grand Edition a real eye-catcher.

Mercedes is already taking pre-orders for the SLS AMG supercar, which in Germany starts at €177,310 (With 19% VAT). First customer deliveries are expected to start this spring.
In preparation for the launch and also to draw more attention Mercedes has launched a commercial where the SLS AMG drives upside down in a tunnel.

All-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet unveiled
Next month in Detroit, Mercedes will show their new addition the E-Class family, the E-Class Cabriolet. This is the 4th version after the sedan, wagon and coupe, which are all now on sale around the world.
E-Class Cabriolet is replacing the CLK Cabrio and will go on sale in May 2010. This new luxury cabriolet seats four and features a quiet sound-dampening soft top in standard.
Mercedes SLS AMG Desert Gold debuts at the Dubai Motor Show
Mercedes is introducing a very special SLS AMG Desert Gold edition at this week’s Dubai Motor Show. The Desert Gold edition features a a matt gold paint scheme, gloss black accents, and black AMG wheels which measure 9.5 x 19 at the front and 11.0 x 20 at the rear.
Inside, the car gets sports seats and carbon fiber trim. Just like the standard SLS AMG, the Desert Gold is powered by a 6.3-liter (6208cc) V8 engine that produces 563 hp and 650 Nm of torque.

In 2008 the fifth generation SL-Class got a facelift for the model that had been on the market already since 2001. The SL-Class facelift has not been a huge success and surely Merc hopes the next-generation one will do better.
Now just in time for the cold winter Mercedes has started testing the all-new sixth generation SL-Class. Wearing a very similar disguise as the next-generation SLK, it is expected to arrive sometimes in 2012.
Mercedes-Benz is building the last batch of SLRs
In 2004, Mercedes-Benz and McLaren jointly set out to continue the story of the legendary SLR racing sports cars of the 1950s. Five exciting variants in the SLR family have been produced - two coupés, two roadster versions and finally one for the extreme purists, the SLR Stirling Moss.
The last examples of the Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss are currently being built with last ones leaving the factory end of this month.
