Mazda MX-5 Roadster’s 20th anniversary edition
Mazda’s 20th anniversary special-edition MX-5 Roadster just went on sale in Japan. The special edition obviously has some special features over the usual ones.
The new model is available in these variations:
The Mazda6 1 Grand Touring
The LA Times has a review of the Mazda6 which compares it to a low born which started life as a sedan of mixed parentage – Ford/Mazda/Volvo – a mid sized car. The car evolved into a sophisticated specimen with lots of luxury options and features.
The basic car is priced at $19,220, but with all the optional extras which make it the 1 Grand Touring, it costs $29,440. But this price includes proximity-sensing keyless entry and push-button start; 17-inch alloy wheels; rain-sensing windshield wipers; auto-dimming heated outside mirrors with “puddle” lights; automatic Xenon headlights and LED taillights; leather upholstery; a blind-spot monitoring system; and a moon roof/navigation/Bose audio package.
World’s ugliest Mercedes McLaren SLR found!
If you thought that ASMA Design Perfectus SLR is the ugliest tuned SLR, then we have news. There is a modified SLR called Red Gold Dream McLaren SLR 999 that is by far uglier than the Perfectus SLR.
Sure it has impressive numbers, as the engine pumps out 1000 horsepower. But who cares as the car looks just so wrong from every angle.

Mazda launched the CX-7 in 2006 as a 2007 model and now they are already working on a facelift. This prototype was spotted in Michigan this week wearing disguise on the front and rear.
It looks like the facelifted CX-7 gets larger air intakes giving the car more aggressive look. Also front fascia will be revised and tail lights. We expect that minor changes will be done to the interior as well.
Mazda RX-7 loses all four wheels at an autocross event
Losing a tire/wheel while driving does not sound fun at all. What if you lose all four? This is what happened to a Mazda RX-7 owner at an autocross event. Just seconds after he started his “performance” he lost all FOUR wheels.
We assume he used racing wheels which only have one lug nut and he or his “pit crew” just forgot to torque down the lug nuts.
