Land Rover’s new LRX to launch in 2011
Land Rover’s new model is all set to launch a new model of its Range Rover in 2011 to mark its 40th anniversary. The car will be a technologically advanced model which will be keeping with latest fuel efficiency and carbon dioxide emission standards.
Jaguars and Land Rovers will now come in aluminum
Jaguars and Land Rovers will now be built in aluminum instead of the heavier steel, leading to as much and 40 percent reduction in the weight of the car. This will result in greater fuel efficiency as well as less carbon dioxide emissions. Tata Motors, which owns the brand, is going to extend this technology to other models as well to become more green.
2010 Range Rover Sport unveiled, packs now 510 horsepower
For the 2010 MY Range Rover Sport gets little exterior and interior upgrades. Main exterior changes include new LED headlamps combined with a new two-bar grille, revised bumpers and fenders for sportier look.
Interior has been redesigned with higher quality materials and a new steering wheel. Most important change on the 2010 MY Range Rover Sport is under the hood.
Tiret New York and LSE Design create a luxury Tiret Coupe
LSE Design is the company behind a three-door Range Rover Sport called LSE Coupe.
Now LSE Design and Tiret New York present the Tiret Coupe based on the LSE Coupe. This three-door Range Rover Sport conversion is more than luxurious, who ever buys one has probably no idea that everyone is talking about the recession.
Land Rover LRX Concept is getting closer to the production
UK Government wants to see Land Rover LRX in production and offers up to £27 million in government aid. Land Rover will make final decision about the project later this year.
This Baby Land Rover would be based on the LRX concept that was first shown at the 2008 Detroit Motor Show.
ARK ReDesign introduces three door Range Rover Sport
In November we brought you pictures and details about the three-door Range Rover Sport by LSE Design.
LSE Design engineers upgraded the engine and told us that only 200 units will be built with prices starting at $250,000.
Now a UK based company ARK ReDesign has released first details about their shortened version of the Range Rover Sport.
Spy shots: Range Rover Sport facelift
Land Rover is busy facelifting its entire product range and this time we have spy photos of the Range Rover Sport facelift.
As you can see from the photos it will get refreshed headlamps, modified grille and updated taillights. What is most interesting about the facelifted Range Rover Sport is that it will get new engines.
Land Rover cancels G4 Challenge Program
For Land Rover fans who have ‘celebrated’ the transferring of ownership of their beloved marque from the ailing FoMoCo to the cash rich Tata Group, this might as well be dealt with a pinch of salt.
As Land Rover poised itself for the continuing hardship of current economic woes, the decision to cancel the G4 Challenge was rather a swift one, with no news whatsoever on preliminary discussions on ‘Possible strategic options’ (A common term used frequently now by car manufacturers).
Facelifted Range Rover Sport spotted in Britain
Facelifted Range Rover Sport will be available very likely beginning of 2009. Next generation should come earliest in 2013.
Exterior changes are very small and at first it is hard to spot the differences. If you look closely you will see new front and rear bumpers, revised grill and side air intakes. As the headlights are covered there is a high chance that Range Rover Sport is the next one to go with the LED boom.

LSE Coupe: three-door Range Rover Sport by LSE Design
We have already seen the first studio images of the LSE Coupe, what we have here are new details and photos of the LSE Coupe sent by the LSE Design.
True Range Rover fans should not be surprised about the three-door Range Rover as first Range Rover originally came with three doors (two side doors and the hatch in back). What makes LSE Coupe different is that its a luxury coupe not an off-road Range you can rent on safari’s in Africa.

SEMA 2008: Range Rover Sport looses two doors and becomes LSE Coupe
LSE Design from UK announced that they will premiere 2009 LSE Coupe Range Rover Sport at the 2008 SEMA. When you look at the front it looks like another tuned Range Rover Sport. Once you see the side view, it is clear that this is a very unique vehicle.
Starting at a base price of $250,000, future LSE Coupe owners can fully customize their ride to their specific likings. LSE Coupe comes with a three year warranty and offers a choice between 1000 paint colors. Only 200 units will be built, with just 50 making their way to the States.
New Supercharger kit for Jaguar and Range Rover V8 by Arden
The latest technological development from Arden is a supercharger kit for Jaguar and Range Rover V8 engines. After extensive studies a superb supercharger system is now available, from which results a performance increase of 80 bhp (58,8 kW) and 140 Nm of additional torque.
The high end stage can generate up to 550 bhp. Besides a much better response behavior, the performance in the whole engine speed range inspires the most.

Electric Range Rover will be priced at around $200,000
Going electric seems to be the future, now there is an electric Range Rover prototype in development that will get 200 mile range per charge. This won’t be another rival to the Tesla Roadster, it will be an electric car for the off road crowd.
The car will have solar panels on the roof to charge the batteries when they get low and will also power many of the electrical systems.

Range Rover facelift spotted on the Nürburgring
Here it is the facelifted third generation Range Rover. Exterior changes are very minor and include new lights and new front bumper.
Just like the facelifted Range Rover Sport it gets a new 5.0-liter supercharged V8. Last time the Range Rover got a facelift was for the 2007 model year. Things have changed a lot since the third generation was first introduced. The program started under BMW, then moved to Ford and now is part of Tata Motors.
Spy pictures: 2009/2010 Range Rover Sport on the Nürburgring
This here is a 2009/2010 Range Rover Sport facelift that was spotted on the Nürburgring. Range Rover Sport gets a new 5.0-liter engine that replaces current 4.2-liter engine from Jaguar.
Power output is from 350 hp in the naturally aspirated configuration and 460 hp on the supercharged version. In addition to the engine changes the car also gets a revised bumper and grille.
This Porsche Cayenne Turbo rival should go on sale summer of 2009.
