Geneva 2010: Novitec Rosso Race 848 based on Ferrari 599 GTB

Ferrari tuner Novitec Rosso is introducing a new model called Race 848 at the Geneva Motor Show. Based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano it is limited to just three examples.

As with most Novitec Rosso projects it gets a twin compressor, that in this case boosts the power on the 6.0-liter V12 engine all the way to 848 hp and 842 Nm of torque.

1963 Ferrari 250 GTO chassis no. 4675GT for sale by RM Auctions

RM Auctions have announced about a “private treaty sale” of a 1963 250 GTO chassis no. 4675GT. It is one of only 36 250 GTOs originally produced and one of a limited few with Series II GTO bodywork.

250 GTO is considered one of the most beautiful cars ever built by Ferrari, in addition it was very successful in competition, securing multiple World Championships for the Modenese car builder.

Ferrari P540 Superfast Aperta one-off

Ferrari is out of reach to most people, but if you are a super rich, then regular Ferrari is not enough. Ferrari’s Special Projects programme has created a second custom Ferrari for Edward Walson, son of John Walson, the inventor of cable TV.

This one-off P540 Superfast Aperta is based on the 599 GTB Fiorano and was inspired by a Carrozzeria Fantuzzi-designed Ferrari built specifically for the 1968 Fellini film, Toby Dammit.

Video: Ferrari F430 Spider gets a matte black treatment

Exotic car owners always want something more. We have seen chromed and golden cars and tons of matte color supercars. Vinyl wrapping is quite fast and no painting is required.

Below we have an awesome video showing how this is actually done. British company Creative FX is transforming a stock rosso red Ferrari F430 Spider into a matt black stealth fighter. In the video it looks quite easy, but actually it is quite tricky.

Rumor: Enzo Replacement, the F70 will get a twin turbo V8

Replacement for the extreme Enzo is expected to arrive in 2012. Enzo was powered by a 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12, but according to latest reports its successor F70 will get a twin-turbo V8 that produces around 660 horsepower.

That’s about the same as the Enzo V12 produces, but the difference is in the weight. Successor to Enzo will weigh about 360 kg less making it a lot faster.

Ferrari theme park in Abu Dhabi looks almost ready

External structure of the Ferrari theme park oin Abu Dhabi is completed and it looks awesome! Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is located on Yas Island, a 2,500 hectare island dedicated to leisure, entertainment and lifestyle.

It is the world’s largest indoor theme park and also the first Ferrari theme park.

Building’s red roof is inspired by the classic double curve side profile of the Ferrari GT body covering a surface area of 200,000m².

NOVITEC ROSSO Edizione 747: Ciao Scuderia!

Ferrari tuner Novitec Rosso marks the farewell of the Ferrari 430 Scuderia(F430 will be replaced with the new 570 hp 458 Italia) by presenting the Edizione 747.

Highlights of this exclusive supercar are a two-tone matte yellow and grey paintjob and of course the bi-compressor V8 engine that boosts power from 510 horsepower on the stock naturally aspirated V8 to 747 horsepower.

Felipe Massa takes a trip to Maranello, meets new 458 Italia (Video)

Brazilian Formula One driver Felipe Massa is hopefully back soon after the accident earlier this year at the Hungarian Grand Prix where he got hit right to the helmet.

Last week Massa visited Maranello for the first time since the crash. He practiced on the stimulator for a little and then hit the Fiorano track in a privately-owned retired F2007.

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China Limited Edition - limited to less than 12 cars

Ferrari announced today that they are launching a 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China Limited Edition that will be limited to less than 12 cars.

This is the first time Ferrari produces a limited edition model for the Chinese market.

This special edition is designed by a well known Chinese artist Lu Hao and features a two-tone color GTB finished in Rosso Fuoco red and a grey roof.

Ferrari 458 Spider confirmed

Ferrari 458 Italia is one of the hottest supercars to go on sale next year. It made its world debut just few weeks ago at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Power comes from a mid-rear mounted 4.5-liter V8 that packs 570 horsepower. Ferrari fans can all rejoice as the company has finally confirmed a Spider version of the 458 Italia as well.
