First Fisker Karma commercial aired during the Oscars
Fisker Karma is slated to roll of the assembly lines in Finland end of the year with sales starting soon after. So far Fisker Automotive has received 1,300 orders for this luxury plug-in hybrid.
On Sunday Fisker aired a first 60-second commercial during the Academy Awards gala on Los Angeles television station KTLA.
Nissan got free advertising during Sunday’s Super Bowl
Audi and Hyundai paid big bucks for their commercials that aired during Super Bowl XLIII on Sunday. Surprise, surprise as there was one automaker who did not pay a single dime and got some coverage in one of the Super Bowl ads.
The ad we are talking about is the Pepsi Super Bowl ad. Theme of the ad is that every generation refreshes the world. On 0:36 you can see the Nissan Cube being presented as one of the new refreshments.
Audi Super Bowl commercial “The Chase”
Last night’s Super Bowl is over and those who watched know that Pittsburgh Steelers won Arixona Cardinals with four points (27:23).
Super Bowl is a fantastic event as it draws so much attention. Every year companies launch special commercials just for this event. Audi is no exception, their Godfather themed commercial that aired last year was a huge hit.

Sunday humor: Funny ice scraping commercial by Statoil
If you live in the north then it’s that time of the year again. Short days, long nights and very likely lots of snow and ice.
When there’s snow, then there surely are some funny moments involved. Below is a funny commercial by Norwegian gas company that has stations all over the Scandinavia.
How original are car advertisements?
It’s a fact that car companies keep a close eye on competitors and their new design(technology as well). Sometimes new models remind us of a car, that we have seen before. It can be similar lights, mirrors, body lines.. etc.
The same can be seen on ads that are used to sell these “original” cars.

Audi purchases a 60-second slot at 2009 Super Bowl XLIII
Despite the fact that Audi withdraws from American Le Mans series due to the bad economy, they still have money for Super Bowl. Last year was first for Audi to show their commercial during the Super Bowl. It was a constant hit.
“The Godfather” inspired ad increased traffic to Audi’s web site almost 200% and Audi R8 became the top search term on Google right after the commercial appeared to the public.

Message from the auto industry in Detroit
Well not really from the auto industry, but from someone with a sense of (ironic)humor. Let’s face it, there is some truth in it.
Will things really change when the big three gets money from the government? We are skeptical, but we hope that all these top executives who got paid millions have learned from mistakes, and know where they are taking the U.S. auto industry.
Japanese commercial shows how to park two Toyota iQ’s
Toyota iQ is the smallest four-seater production car in the world, it measures less than 3 meters (10 feet) in length and accommodates three adults and a child.
This Japanese commercial shows how you can park two Toyota iQ’s to a single parking spot. Please don’t try to do it the way it is done in the commercial, unless you are a professional stunt driver.
Toyota Australia uses Ninja Kittens to sell Corollas
Toyota Australia has launched an ad campaign called Ninja Kittens. They have even set up a Youtube channel, so we are most likely going to see more kittens and Corollas in the near future.
This first video is called The Heist” and features ninja cat who beats up other cat-looking creatures to take their fish. Cats and dogs are often used in different commercials and usually make people say… OO so cute, lovely, so smart…. Lets face it, not this one. To be honest, this Toyota commercial is the worst ever to feature animals(if these can be called kittens). Let’s hope the next episode is little better.
Video: Meet the Beckers, episode 3
If you are new to Audi’s “Meet the Beckers” viral video campaign, then check out the episode 1 and episode 2 before you continue to see the episode 3.
In this episode Beckers family is getting ready for their annual football game. This is the craziest family ever. Father who drove the Mercedes-Benz in the first episode is drinking whiskey with raw eggs, Billy has a strange thing for the Conan the Barbarian, little girls are putting a doll into the oven… the end is actually little creepy.
Mitsubishi Strakar L200: Secret
What we have here is a great print ad campaign for the Mitsubishi Strakar L200. It was done by an ad company called MSFT Partners in Portugal.
Pickup ads usually feature heavy loads that are put on the car to show how much they can carry. To show their towing capabilities huge trailers are behind them with big boats or construction materials. What this ad company has done is quit different by taking the viewer to the secret place/world(and if you are a fan of Indiana Jones type of movies, then you will love these ads).

Video: Meet the Beckers, episode 2
Remember the first episode where couple was driving an Audi to the family home for a reunion. Video showed other members of the family who were heading there in a BMW, Mercedes and Lexus. If you haven’t seen it, then click here before you continue to see the episode 2.
In this new episode Jason and Billy take a drive to pick up the Thanksgiving turkey. Of course they are taking the Audi A4. It is worth the time just like the first one.
New commercial for the facelifted Audi A6
This is Audi’s new commercial for the facelifted A6, that was filmed in Toronto, Canada.
Most of the commercial was shot in Toronto, but for the final day of the four-day shoot, the crew came to Kitchener to take advantage of the unique open-air helix / corkscrew-style garage.
