Los Angeles Auto Show: 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe
Cadillac has unveiled the 2011 CTS Coupe at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The Coupe joins the CTS Sport Sedan, the 556-horsepower (415 kW) CTS-V and new CTS Sport Wagon as the foundation of Cadillac’s lineup.
The CTS Coupe’s design carries over virtually unchanged from the concept, in 2008 at the Detroit Motor Show.
Although it looks like its design is heavily based on the CTS sedan, the CTS Coupe actually shares only the instrument panel, console, headlamps, front fenders and grille with its bigger sister.

Report: General Motors will build the Cadillac Converj
General Motors showed the Cadillac Converj concept at the Detroit Auto Show beginning of this year. This plug-in extended range Coupe was at first sight something people wanted to see GM produce, but with the economy down and GM near bankruptcy it seemed too good to be true.
No according to The Detroit News, the production version of the Converj concept will very likely reach showrooms in just few years shortly after GM has launched the Chevrolet Volt, which will share its Voltec drivetrain with the Converj.

WTF? Cadillac World Thorium Fuel Concept?
This uncanny Cadillac is created by Lorus Kulesus and it is meant to last for a century. The name of the 90th element – thorium – in the title of the design proposal is no coincident.
Kulesus sees the element acting as a nuclear fuel so the batteries powering the car can rely on an almost infinite source of energy. The fact that World Thorium Concept adds up as WTF is at the same time humorous and exact: it is a little bit far-fetched, but a futuristic concept has to be.
