Geneva 2010: Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible

The Continental Supersports Convertible will make its public debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show, following the introduction of the Continental Supersports Coupé back in 2009.
The inspiration for the ‘Supersports’ name is the 1925 Bentley Supersports, a race-bred version of the iconic Bentley 3-litre, that delivered 85bhp when more ordinary cars were equipped with a modest 15bhp. It was also the first production car to reach 100mph – extreme performance in its day.
Video: Building the new Bentley Mulsanne
Bentley has released a first video showing the production of the all-new Mulsanne, which made its debut last fall. Set to go on sale this summer it will be priced from £220,000 in UK and from $285,000 in US(sales start in the fall).
In the video below you can see complex processes, advanced technology, traditional British coachbuilding skills and painstaking attention to detail in the new 7500m2 assembly center.
Bentley Motors announces Mulsanne pricing

ker launch Bentley Motors has announced pricing for this luxury limousine.
More than 1,000 private previews of Mulsanne have alsready been held at the company’s factory in Crewe, England and during a seven-city U.S. tour. U.S. pricing starts at $285,000 (plus all the taxes), UK pricing starts at £220,000.

Bentley Continental Supersports is the most extreme Bentley road car ever. Under the hood is a twin-turbo 12-Cylinder 6-liter flex-fuel engine that packs 621 horsepower.
This ultimate coupe drinks both regular unleaded gasoline and E85 biofuel. Continental Supersports is just the beginning of a greener Bentley range. By 2012 Bentley plans to make its entire range E85 biofuel capable.
Bentley Mulsanne - new promotional video for the luxury sedan
Bentley Mulsanne is a replacement for the aging Arnage series. This new luxury sedan will go against Rolls-Royce Phantom and Maybach 57/62.
Sales will start in the second quarter of 2010 with an expected price around $500,000.

The Bentley Arnage – an official announcement
On the 90th anniversary of Bentley, the company made an official announcement regarding its new replacement model for the Arnage. The car will be debuting at the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance at California on August 16, 2009, when you will be able to see the actual car.

Bentley Continental Supersports unveiled ahead of Geneva debut
We brought you first details about the most powerful Bentley end of January. At that time it was just few teasers. Today Bentley released first images and details about the Continental Supersports.
The Continental Supersports is the fastest and most powerful Bentley ever. Power comes from a 6-liter W12 twin-turbocharged engine that develops 630 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.
Bentley releases first video of the Extreme Bentley
Earlier this week Bentley released a teaser image of the Extreme Bentley: fastest and most powerful Bentley ever produced. Second teaser is in the form of a video showing us very little of the car, though we are quite sure that the bio fuel Bentley will look very similar to Continental GT Speed.
Even though Bentley does not reveal much on how the super Bentley will look, they do make sure we can hear the massive bio fuel powered twin-turbo W12 roar.

Bentley celebrates 50 years of V8 engine
American automakers are not the only ones who have been making V8 engines for decades. Bentley introduced the first V8 engine 50 years ago in the iconic Bentley S2 Continental.
Today Bentley’s V8 engine continues to power the company’s powerful, flagship luxury motor cars including the 530bhp Bentley Brooklands coupe, the Arnage and Azure convertible models in 2009.
Of course the engine first built in 1959 has been improved by generations of Bentley engineers.
Bentley GTC facelift and GTC Speed revealed
Continental GTC debuted in 2006, and since then has become a global hit for Bentley. Now for the year 2009, Bentley has rolled out a facelifted GTC and an all new GTC Speed, which is Bentley’s most powerful convertible ever.
Facelifted GTC has 552 hp, while the Continental GTC Speed develops 600 hp from twin-turbocharged W12. GTC Speed has a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h), with the roof up. With the roof down it reaches 195 mph (312 km/h).
