ENCO Exclusive body kit for Audi Q5
The newly developed Q5 body kit by Enco Exclusive is based optically on its big brother the Q7 or in particular here the V12 TDI version.
ENCO body kit for the Q5 includes new front bumper with air inlets to, integrated LED daytime running lights, new hood with a sublime mid-section with two chrome air outlets, mudguards, door extensions, new skirts, oval end exhaust pipes and body-coloured spoiler above the rear windscreen.
Audi RS5 and Ur-quattro meet on the track (Video)
Audi has released a promotional video for the new RS5 that made its public debut earlier this month at the Geneva Motor Show. This new RS model packs a naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 that produces 450 horsepower and 430Nm of torque.
In this new video this new video RS5 is featured together video the original Ur-quattro from the 1980s, that was one of the most amazing rally cars at the time. Audi RS5 will go on sale this spring with a price around €77,000.
ABT R8 GT R - 620 horsepower, 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds!
ABT R8 GT R is the latest project by Audi tuner ABT Sportsline. Based on the Audi R8 V10 it is limited to just 25 units.
According to ABT Sportsline the R8 GT R uses the experience from motorsport flowed into the design, and all the components have been systematically trimmed to ensure a light-weight construction and optimal weight distribution.
Geneva 2010: Audi A8 hybrid concept
Little A1 E-tron is not the only electrifying Audi in Geneva. Audi also presents there A8 hybrid as a technology concept.
A8 Hybrid features two propulsion units – a 2.0 TFSI and an electric motor that develop a total output of 245 hp and 480 Nm of torque. Basically V6 power in a four cylinder engine.
This hybrid system enables the Audi A8 accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.6 seconds and to achieve a top speed of 235 km/h (146 mph).
Geneva 2010: Audi A1 e-Tron
Audi’s e-tron model series is growing and here is the second model called A1 e-Tron. The Audi A1 e-tron is a Mega City Vehicle with an innovative drive technology.
It comes equipped with an electric motor for zero-emission driving in the city combined with internal combustion engine on board that recharges the battery in exceptional circumstances. Very similar system that is found in the Chevy Volt.
Audi RS5 unveiled ahead of Geneva debut
Watch out BMW M3! Developed by quattro GmbH, the RS5 model joins the RS6 and TT RS. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8, which is a close relative of the V10 that powers the high-performance R8 sports car.
The 4.2 FSI provides imposing torque and is right at home even at high revs – almost like a race engine. The engine delivers 450 hp at 8,250 rpm and between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm transmits a maximum of 430 Nm (317.15 lb-ft) of torque.
Audi RS6 plus Sport and RS6 plus Audi Exclusive
Audi is offering two limited-edition equipment packages for the powerful RS6 called RS6 plus Sport and RS6 plus Audi exclusive, which are limited to just 500 units.
Each package will be a one-of-a-kind thanks to a numbered badge in the interior. The Sport version features an instrument-panel hood and center console covered in leather; an RS6 logo adorns the front floor mats.
Audi A1 unveiled ahead of Geneva Motor Show
Watch out Mini Cooper! Audi A1 is a new premium class car in the small compacts class and from the first impressions it has what it takes to succeed when it goes on sale this summer with a base price of around 16,000 euros.
The A1 is 3.95 meters (12.96 feet) long, 1.74 meters (5.71 feet) wide but only 1.42 meters (4.66 feet) tall. The wheelbase measures 2.47 meters (8.10 feet).
Audi R8 Spyder promo video
Audi has released a new promo video for the R8 Spyder, which features a 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces 525 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque.
0-100 km/h comes in 4.1 seconds and the top speed is rated at 313 km/h (194 mph). In this new 1 min 23 sec promo clip we get to see this topless supercar both in the urban traffic and on the highway.
Sales target for the upcoming Audi A1 is 80,000 units in its first full year
Audi A1 will make its official debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show. Before the official launch Audi has released some interesting details about the first premium car in the subcompact segment.
“The subcompact segment is forecast to grow in Europe by the year 2015 - in Germany alone growth of 30 percent is anticipated. We’re currently expecting to sell 80,000 units of the A1 in its first full year,” says Peter Schwarzenbauer, Member of the Board of Management for Marketing and Sales at AUDI AG.
Audi has big plans, invests 7.3 billion to compete better with BMW and Mercedes-Benz
This year Audi expects to sell about 925,000 vehicles worldwide, BMW is aiming for 1.02 million units and Mercedes for 950,000 units. So Audi is right behind and with their new 7.3 billion euros total investment from 2009 through 2012 they are surely going to put on a good fight to pass both domestic competitors.
Around 5.9 billion from the total investment will go for new products and future technologies. Audi plans to increase number of models from 34 now to 42 in 2015.
Audi e-tron limited to just 1000 units, goes on sale in 2012
Audi has released more details about the upcoming all-electric sports car e-tron. Production of this premium class electric sports car will be limited to just 1000 examples and it will go on sale already in 2012.
No pricing details have been released yet, but it is known that it will cost more than the R8. Achim Badstubner, Audi’s head of exterior design said that e-tron will be made to order and in case there’s not enough demand it can easily stop the production.
2010 Green Car of the Year is Audi A3 TDI
Green Car Journal Announces Audi A3 TDI as the 2010 Green Car of the Year at the Los Angeles Auto Show. This is the second year in a row that a clean diesel vehicle has taken the top prize ahead of hybrids and advanced diesel models.
Audi A3 TDI base price in the U.S is $29,950 and it is certified in 50 states. Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbo direct injection (TDI) engine with a standard S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Super Sport Concept Program for Audi R8 by Senner Tuning
German tuner Senner Tuning has developed a new programm for the Audi R8 4.2 V8 FSI called Super Sport Concept. Thanks to new engine management, the use of special sport air filter inserts, new exhaust system with valve control engine power increases to 458 hp and 470 Nm of torque.
New sport suspension springs get the R8 about 25 mm closer to the asphalt on the front axle and 15 mm on the rear axle.
2011 Audi A8 unveiled
Yesterday Audi launched the next generation A8 at the Miami Design Week. This sporty and luxury sedan comes with a flowing design(just an evolution of the current generation), new more efficient engines and lots of under the skin changes.
New A8 rests again on the Aluminum Space Frame (ASF), and Audi says the car is longer, wider and sits lower than its competitors.
