Geneva 2010: Bertone Pandion Concept
Bertone is the second design house after Pininfarina that pays tribute to the Alfa Romeo’s one hundred year anniversary with a special concept at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
Bertone Pandion is a futuristic sports car with powered by a 4.7-liter Alfa Romeo 8-Cylinder engine found also in the 8C Competizione. Length of the car is 4620 mm, width 1971 mm, height 1230 mm, and wheelbase 2850 mm.
Alfa Romeo 2uettottanta by Pininfarina
To mark its 80th anniversary, Italian design house Pininfarina proposes an “open” Alfa Romeo that is exciting and a delight to drive. This spider of the future is not just celebrating Pininfarina’s anniversary, Alfa Romeo is also celebrating this year their centenary.
The 2uettottanta represents the culmination of an age-old partnership between the two Italian firms, and pays tribute to the iconic 60s-era Duetto roadster.
Geneva 2010: Alfa Romeo Giuletta
Alfa Rome calls the Giuletta undisputed star of their booth at the Geneva Show and of the Alfa Romeo Centenary.
The Giulietta is a five-door hatchback, with an evident Alfa Romeo appearance. Sales will start in May on all the major markets Visitors of the Geneva Motor Show will be able to see five different models: two Quadrifoglio Verde versions fitted with the 235 HP 1750 TBi, two Distinctive versions with 170 HP 2.0 JTDM and a Distinctive version fitted with the 170 HP 1.4 MultiAir Turbo petrol.
Geneva preview: Alfa Romeo based Pininfarina Spider concept
Pininfarina will show a 2-seater spider on Alfa Romeo basis at this year’s Geneva Motor Show on March 2nd.
The Pininfarina new concept is meant to be part of the tradition of successful spiders born from the relationship with Alfa Romeo, among the most significant and long-lasting ones in the automobile history, and interprets the innovative vision of an antique theme strongly present in the Pininfarina roots, the 2-seater spider.
Alfa Romeo and Italia Independent create a special-edition Brera
Alfa Romeo is making some of the most stylish rides in the world. Unfortunately they are not always known for their high quality and superior driving dynamics, but that has changed to a better in the recent years and will surely change more.

Geneva preview: Alfa Romeo Giulietta
Even though we are still month’s from the next Geneva Motor Show, Alfa Romeo has decided to release first details about the all-new Giulietta, which will be presented to the public next March.
Sales of this new model will start soon after and will be gradually extended to all the major markets soon after.
Based on the new lightweight architecture it will go against not just the Volkswagen Gold, but also more luxurious Audi A3.
Alfa Romeo MiTo 2010 Imola to hit Japan
Alfa Romeo new MiTo 2010 is scheduled to start selling in Japan, which is going to get 150 special editions for sale. The Imola is a cute little car, apparently to small for the US which traditionally goes in for bigger cars.
The Alfa supercar has a good market in Germany
The limited-edition Alfa Romeo 8C Spider supercar is going to find bigger home in Germany than anywhere else. While only 50 units will go to UK and 75 will go to Italy, Germany will get 100 units. Only 500 units are to be built initially.
Germans have already applied for 400 units, while 1,200 reservations have been made globally. Alfa has a two layered plan to distribute the cars. First buyers have to make a non-binding reservation, then based on the number of reservations received, Alfa will allocate the cars. If a person wants to confirm the order he has to make a 30 percent non-refundable deposit.
Glimpses of 2010 Alfa Romeo Milano
Alfa Romeo has signed the deal with Fiat and now fans are anxiously awaiting the new Chrysler sedan which will be based on the 2010 Alfa Romeo Milano. The Milano is due to make its debut in the last quarter of the year.
It looks like Alfa Romeo is progressing well towards it target time frame. Meanwhile you can feast your eyes on the spy shots of the car, even though details are not very clear. The car is expected to share Fiat’s C-Evo platform with the Lancia Delta and Alfa Romeo Bravo, contrary to earlier reports of the car getting an all-new platform. The same core engine range is expected, including a smallish 120hp (90kW) four-cylinder and ranging up to a 3.2L V6 good for 265hp (198kW).
Alfa Romeo will introduce another version of MiTo called Veloce
Next month at the Holland’s largest motor show Alfa Romeo will unveil a new concept called MiTo Veloce.
This new version of Alfa’s premium city car will be positioned between the standard Mito (1.4-liter turbocharged engine with 155 hp) and the MiTo GTA (1.8-liter turbocharged engine with 230 hp).

No more teasers! Alfa Romeo has unveiled the MiTo GTA Concept ahead of next week’s Geneva Debut. MiTo Gran Turismo Allegerito Concept is powered by a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine that develops 240 hp.
Compared to the standard MiTo it is lighter thanks to carbon fiber body panels and extensive use of aluminum.
2010 Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA teaser image released
Alfa Romeo has finally released a teaser image showing the front view of the hot MiTo GTA. MiTo GTA styling is inspired by the 8C Competizione.
Compared to the standard MiTo engineers have upgraded the engine to a turbocharged 1.8-liter that develops 240 horsepower. Other upgrades include a revised front, bigger wheel arches and bigger wheels.
Geneva preview: 2009 Alfa Romeo 159
2009 Alfa Romeo 159 will be presented next month in Geneva. Here we have the first press images of this hot Italian sedan.
2009 year model will get two new engines, a 1.8-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that develops 200 hp and a four-cylinder jTDm diesel that develops 170 hp.
A small sporty Junior to follow Alfa MiTo?
Junior was one of the suggested names for MiTo when it was being developed. 4Car has come up with data that Alfa Romeo is filling the dropped name with a small sports car to supplement the range.
The MiTo takes much of its styling cues from the glorious 8C Competizione, converting it into a somewhat controversial hatch back. Some love it, some think it is a lazy hippo. We can tell you that it is really great to drive, the Alfa DNA system works perfectly and in real life its looks have an aspiration towards a mini-Ferrari, even.
Geneva welcomes an angry baby - the Alfa MiTo GTA
Alfa Romeo will launch the Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA at the Geneva Motor Show in March. It is massively fruitier and a little bit lighter then the standard baby Romeo.
Its engineering pedigree is quite the same with Fiat’s hot Punto Abarth. MiTo GTA will have to make a living with a 1,8 turbo petrol pumping out 240 hp. That’s 85 stallions more than the 155 hp of the angriest MiTo in the current lineup.
An unidentified source from the stables of Alfa Romeo told Autocar, “The MiTo GTA will get more lightweight materials such as carbon fibre and aluminium, in keeping with our strategy to cut weight from all our vehicles in the future.”
