Acura
The Acura 2010 ZDX crossover officially revealed
Though the concept car was shown at the New York Auto Show earlier this year, the company has now officially released the pictures along with a press release. The pictures of the actual car are not radically different from the concept pictures. It is only that the headlights, tail lamps and a few details in the lower front fascia are somewhat different.
The ZDX has the same 300-hp 3.7-liter V6 engine as in the RL and TL, with Acura’s first six-speed automatic transmission, and the torque vectoring Super Handling-All Wheel Drive. The crossover will most likely compete with BMW’s new 5 series GT. The price of this car has not yet been released and we will only learn of it when it enters the market.
Acura ZDX Concept unveiled at the New York Auto Show
Today at the New York Auto Show Acura unveiled the all-new ZDX Concept that people have already started to call BMW X6 fighter, as it has a very similar coupe like design.
Production version of the concept will go on sale already this fall.
Acura’s BMW X6 fighter named ZDX, official debut in New York
We have seen highly disguised prototypes of the Acura’s X6 fighter. Few weeks ago Acura released first teasers of the unnamed CUV.
Now finally Acura has released the official name for its BMW X6 fighter - the ZDX. According to Acura, the ZDX Concept is a luxury four-door sport coupe that will debut next month at the New York Auto Show.
Acura releases first concept CUV teasers
We brought you first spy photos of Acura’s X6 fighter back in August from the Death Valley. Then in October we saw another prototype around Nürburgring.
Today Acura released first teasers showing this new concept that makes its world debut next month at the New York Auto Show.
Honda to kill even more goodies
Honda kicks itself even deeper back into the real world by dropping in addition to the NSX supercar also the developing programs for RWD, V8 and S2000 replacement.
So the brand that was already starting to get excited about getting exciting is forced to return to the math books.
Rendered speculation: 2010 Acura Crossover
First time we saw the Acura’s X6 fighter was back in August, when it was spotted in Death Valley. In October we spotted the car already in the city of Nürburg.
Both cars spotted had a very heavy disguise, but when looking closely you could see that the top behind the B-part goes down like on the new BMW X6.
Rumor is that Acura is working on the new V8, that will power this new SAV. As Acura already has MDX, then speculation is the new crossover will be called MSX.
2010 Acura Crossover /MSX interior spied
Yesterday we brought you spy shots of the Acura’s new Crossover with heavy disguise from the streets of Nürburgring. Now we have first images of the interior with no disguise.
No it is not the interior of MDX you are looking at, though it looks identical. Either Acura is going to use the similar interior to MDX on the new Crossover or they have it just on the prototype. Surely MDX interior isn’t bad looking, but we would expect to see something different when Acura’s Crossover arrives.
2010 Acura Crossover prototype spied near Nürbugring
We saw the Acura’s X6 fighter first time in Death Valley back in August. This is the first time the car has been spotted in the daylight. When you look at the images closely you can see that Acura is trying to hide the rear which goes down similarly to X6.
Rumor is that Acura is working on a new V8, that will also power the new Crossover/SAV. We still have no information on the name. As Acura already has MDX, then this one might me called MSX.

Another great (spy)video of the 2010 Honda NSX
We have brought you spy photos of the 2010 Honda/Acura NSX here, here, here and a video here.
NSX will be powered by a V10 engine producing around 550hp. Rear-wheel drive system will be based on Acura’s SH-AWD(Super Handling All-Wheel Drive). Rumor is that NSX is trying to break the Nissan GT-R’s time which was 7:29.
Now here we have another great video with awesome V10 sounds from the Nürburgring and off the ring in city traffic.
Spy pictures: Acura’s X6 fighter
First pictures of night testing Acura’s X6 fighter at the Death Valley. This Acura is never seen before and it easily shows us that its top behind the B-part goes down like at the BMW X6.
The rear camouflage looks faked to us. No information yet, what will it be called, what will power the Acura’s SAV, but we are working on the information. Stay tuned!
Video: 2010 Honda/Acura NSX on the Nürburgring
In addition to the first spy pictures we brought you two weeks ago, we have also managed to get some very good shots from the Nürburgring also. What we haven’t got yet is a good video of the new NSX to share with you.
There have been some very bad quality videos on youtube of the new NSX, but not good enough to post them here. Now finally Auto Motor und Sport has made a very good video of the new NSX doing some fast laps on the famous Nürburgring.
Honda NSX close to the lap record on the Nürburgring
Honda NSX was hand timed today by our photographer at the Nürburgring and the laptime of 7:37 minutes in the industry traffic is not bad at all. It is not known how much the other cars affected the time, but surely NSX can do it faster if there is no other traffic.
For the record Nissan GT-R had 7:29
Will the new NSX beat the time of GT-R? Surely Honda hopes that and it seems they are very serious about breaking that time.
We also have a shot of the dashboard and gear sticks at the steering wheel.
Honda NSX spied on the Nürburgring
In addition to yesterdays pictures we have new pictures of the 2010 Honda NSX doing some laps on the Nürburgring.
New NSX is expected to get a 550 hp V10 engine. Rear-wheel drive system will be based on Acura’s SH-AWD(Super Handling All-Wheel Drive).
Car will be launched most probably in the US beginning of 2010 as Acura NSX.
In the end you will see some pictures of the car heading back to the facility.
Spy pictures: 2009 / 2010 Honda NSX
Here we have first spy pictures of the new Honda NSX taken in Germany by our photographer.
Car seems smaller than the previous NSX. Kind of reminds the new Lexus LF-A.
New NSX is expected to get a 550 hp V10 engine.
