Bugatti Veyron production run is almost sold out

Four years ago when Bugatti started production of the Veyron it was announced that only 300 units will be built.

According to Bugatti spokesman about 50 cars are still left. That means 250 examples have been delivered to their lucky owners. What makes things interesting is the special edition blue Veyron we showed you last week that has a chassis #297.

Did the customer get to pick the chassis number or is the production really that close(or closed) to the end?

Bugatti has also built fifteen special edition models named Sang Noir, five Pur Sang and five Hermes edition Veyrons. We don’t know are these special edition models counted into the 300.

In addition to the “normal” Veyron there will be an open top version also. Bugatti will be producing 150 Grand Sports, starting in March.

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport will be first offered only to the current Veyron customers. We have a feeling that most of the topless Veyrons are already spoken for and if some of the current owners don’t want the Grand Sport then you need to hurry up.
