We brought you first spy photos of the X5 M already back in June. For a while it was not sure is BMW really going to use the M badge on the SUV. Now it is clear as BMW has confirmed it and has also released first video of the X5 M.
There is no official word on the engine, but as we have reported earlier, power will very likely come from either a 5.0-liter V10 with 507 hp(found in the M5 and M6) or 4.4-liter V8 with around 400 hp found in the X6 xDrive50i.
Video below shows us the X5 M from the inside while driven on the Nürburgring. In addition to the X5 M there is also a X6 M version in works, that we showed you here.
X5 M will get the same headlights and fascia as the X6 M to enhance the more powerful “M look”.
