What’s a PAS? Come on! It’s the personal activity sedan, of course. It is for persons that drive a sedan now but always have the feeling that their life style is too active, too lively for that kind of a mundane type of car.
But they’re not exactly sure about getting a large tourer either, because they are afraid that this thing will make them look too much of a family guy.
And there you have it – BMW will kindly offer that hesitant lot a vehicle. The 5-series PAS, situated between the sedan and the tourer. It certainly looks much sportier and active than the Sedan and, well, isn’t as mono-purposeful as the larger wagon to their eyes.
BMW has postponed the inauguration of the PAS segment from last year to this year’s Geneva automeet. Now they announced that the PAS will be shown to the press already during the Munich show in the middle of February.
It will most likely be the same production-ready car on show, made flashy with some bigger wheels and a little bit shinier interior. It is a small surprise because we understood that BMW will show the upcoming 2010 5-Series first but what do you know…
