Bentley Continental GTC Speed spotted

The convertible version of the Continental GT, the Continental GTC, was first presented in September 2005. It is equipped with a 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged W12 engine, producing 552 hp (412 kW).

Now here are the first images of what’s to become the convertible version of the Bentley Continental GT Speed – likely to be called the GTC Speed.

It’s going to be the fastest cabrio the British make has built during its 90-year old history.

The name addition “Speed”, by the way, had first been used in 1923… 610 horespower should be good enough for a top-speed of way beyond 320 km/h – the sprint from standstill to 100 km/h takes just 4.5 seconds. Like its coupé brother, the Speed convertible will be equipped with wider wheels compared to the standard GT and GTC and more prominent exhaust pipes. Different from the Speed coupé, however, the GTC will be given a small spoiler on the rear.
