At the Woerthersee meet in Austria this weekend, Audi is slated to reveal its new Q5 concept car. It is a one-off, 408-hp, supercharged 3.0-liter V6 concept. Depending on feedback received by future customers and car aficionados, Audi will make this car for the north American market in the near future.

This concept car will be powerful.

It will have:

• new supercharged, 3.0-liter engine
• a V6 direct-injection gasoline engine.
• It will go 408 hp at 6,000 rpm
• Its torque will be 44 lb-ft to 369 lb-ft on a band of revs from 3,000 rpm through to 5,500 rpm
• It will have a seven-speed, dual-clutch S-tronic gearbox.
• It will go 0-to-62-mph acceleration in just 4.4 seconds

The chassis too will be reworked. And it will have 21″ alloy wheels, a body with deeper bumpers, wider sills and a prominent spoiler above the rear window. This compact SUV is still in the designing stage.
