Audi releases sketches of A5 Cabrio,A5 Sportback, A7, R8 Spider and next A8

Audi released today a number of sketches of its future models. The line-up includes the Audi A5 Sportback, the Audi A5 Cabrio, the new Audi A7, the Audi R8 Spider and the next generation Audi A8.

This shouldn’t be big news to our daily readers, who have already seen the spy shots of the A5 Cabrio, heavily disguised A7 and R8 Spider that reveal a lot more(except A7 mule) than these official sketches.

Built on the A6’s chassis, the new Audi A7 is going to be four-door coupe that will compete with Mercedes CLS. The Audi A7 will be launched next year as a 2010 model.

The company released a single sketch of the new generation Audi A8, due in 2010, that will have a more aggressive appearance.

The Audi A5 Sportback is the second future four-door coupe from the Ingolstadt brand. Competing with the likes of the Passat CC, the Audi A5 Sportback is an “economy” choice for the Audi A7.

In addition to the R8 Spider, Audi is also working on the V10 version.
