BMW fans’ favorite tuning house after the M-division is surely the Alpina. It gives some solid competition to and makes a connoisseur’s alternative to the M-park. Now Alpina has some braking news regarding the soon-to-arrive Geneva Motor Show.
The first new knight is Alpina’s version of the new BMW 7 Series and is called the B7. It cranks out half a thousand horses from that centrifugal-supercharged 4.4-liter V8. No photo of it yet, though.
The second knight is the B6 GT3 racer with which the firm returned to motorsports after a two decade leave. It is based on the B6 S and comes with a supercharged 4.4-liter V8 handing out 530 hp and 535 lb.-ft. of torque. But this one actually has already been presented before.
BMW is so satisfied with their work that they even sell Alpina’s tuner cars in their very own dealerships, not to mention the fact that they are built right off the BMW assembly lines. This gives Alpina some very good credit and makes it one of the most successful companies in its sector.
