All electric Liv Inizio does 0-60 mph under 5 seconds

There are lot of new car manufactures who are working on electric cars. This time it is EV Innovations formerly known as Hybrid Technologies.

EV Innovations is not a new player when it comes to electric cars. They have been converting different cars into zero-emission vehicles for a while.

Some of the cars they have converted include Toyota Yaris, smart fortwo, PT Cruised and Mini Cooper. Also they have done work on scooters and motorcycles. Lithium ion batteries they use are developed in house.

Next month at the New York Auto Show EV Innovations will introduce an all electric sports car called Liv Inizio, which will have similar specs as the Tesla Roadster.

Liv Inizio has a driving range of 200 miles (321 km). 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) comes in around 4 seconds. Compared to the Tesla Roadster it is 300 pounds (136 kg) lighter, 6 inches (15 cm) wider and 15 inches (38 cm) longer.

Charging of the battery takes around 8 hours and touch-screen LCD screen informs driver about the battery range.

Pricing for this electric supercar is set at $139,000 (102,787 euros). It surely is not cheap, but we are sure there are some rich eco freaks out there who don’t mind such a price tag. We’ll be bringing you more details next month from the New York Auto Show.
