It is an MPV that looks like a van. Or the other way around. But these kinds of “animals” are greatly accepted by the market. One of Fiat’s latest creations in that field got caught testing in Italy.
Like its predecessor the car will be aiming at young families in the passenger-car variant with a conventional top-hinged rear door. In addition this little MPV will be available in a commercial version featuring a split tailgate.
While the general layout will remain unchanged, the design on the whole will be more modern. Judging from the pictures we dare saying that the Doblo’s two main characteristics will remain: the huge upright front grille and the sliding doors on both sides of the car. New Fiat Doblo is expected in 2010.
