At this week’s Essen Motor Show, German tuner 9ff will show the public a new model called Speed9. Based on the Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet it packs an impressive 650 horsepower and comes with a unique body design.
This 911 has no rear seats making it a true speedster like the legendary 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster, that is the inspiration for this new open top supercar.
The Speed9 also has a shortened windshield and a flat cover behind the front seats(regular 911 Cabrio has a hump that houses the retractable soft top). Aerodynamic changes compared to the stock 997 Turbo include a new front apron, side skirts and a rear apron.
