We brought you first pictures of the next-generation Porsche Boxster prototype back in November. This time the mule was spotted winter testing in Northern Sweden.
There are already lot of rumors circulating the next-generation Boxster, which is very likely going to make its world debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
Some of the rumors suggest that the next-generation Boxster will get a 2.0-liter four cylinder Volkswagen sourced diesel engine.
Engineers are also hard working on saving weight and reportedly new Boxster will feature lighter body-panels. Chances are that a smaller turbocharged four-cylinder direct injected gasoline engine will also be offered. This would help Porsche meet different emission and fuel economy regulations.
The test mule spotted wears current Boxster’s body with some disguise on the front and rear. Expect to see tons of more spy shots before Porsche makes the new Boxster specs and final design official.
