Yesterday Audi launched the next generation A8 at the Miami Design Week. This sporty and luxury sedan comes with a flowing design(just an evolution of the current generation), new more efficient engines and lots of under the skin changes.

New A8 rests again on the Aluminum Space Frame (ASF), and Audi says the car is longer, wider and sits lower than its competitors.

Main highlights are full LED headlights, Luxurious interior with newly developed, spacious styling, Advanced MMI operating system, MMI touch navigation system with pioneering operating concept, Seats with optional ventilation and massage functions, luxurious individual rear seats optional, New Audi pre sense safety system for avoiding accidents and for minimizing their consequences, Navigation system of the next generation closely networked with the assistance systems; high-end audio systems and online services, Night vision assistant with pedestrian marking, adaptive cruise control with stop & go feature and advanced driver assistance systems.

Updated 4.2-liter V8 packs 372 hp, consumption is improved by 15 percent with enhanced performance. Engine is mated to a new 8-speed tiptronic as standard. New A8 comes in standard with quattro all-wheel drive, and optional sport differential.
