2010 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMGFacelifted S-Class was unveiled last week. AMG version of the facelifted S-Class will make its official debut next week at the Shanghai Auto Show.

Even though there have not been official press release yet, we can already see first details on German online configuration web site about the AMG versions of S-Class. Looks like the always very punctual Germans put the information up too fast.

As always with AMG models the changes done to the exterior are not very radical. We can see larger air intakes below the front bumper. Fog lights are now replaced by LEDs. Also taillights are LEDs.

S63 AMG grille wears five horizontal bars, while the S65 AMG has three double horizontal bars. If you still can’t spot the difference, then look at the quad exhaust outlets as the ones on S65 AMG are a bit bigger.

S63 AMG is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that produces 518 horsepower(just like in the E 63 AMG) and 465 lb-ft of torque. Transmission used is a seven-speed automatic.

S65 AMG is powered by a twin-turbo 6.0 V12 that produces 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Transmission used is a five-speed automatic.

In Germany, pricing for the S63 AMG starts at 144,823 euros, S65 AMG starts at 221,221 euros. US pricing for the S63 AMG is likely $135,225 and $202,825 for the S65 AMG. We’ll be bringing you all the official details and high-res images very soon.
