2010 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG spotted again

Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Sedan We saw the first E63 AMG Sedan prototype back in September. The car was driven by ex F1 driver Mika Häkkinen with a copilot and instructor Klaus Ludwig.

In addition to the sedan we have also brought you spy photos of the Estate version.

This time the sedan version wears very little disguise and we can see most of the details of the car. Only the front-end is lightly covered by black camouflage. Front is hiding very likely LED daytime lights.

Compared to the standard E-Class which debuted in January we can see quad tailpipes, perforated brake discs with huge calipers.

Other changes include a widened front track, multi-link active suspension and steering ratio compared to the stock E-Class. Rumor is that some of the features will be borrowed from the new C63 AMG to improve handling and chassis strength.

Power comes from the hand-built 6.2-liter V8 that develops 525 horsepower (392 kW).

AMG version of the E-Class Sedan should be launched in the near future. Estate, Coupe and Cabrio versions will follow beginning of 2010.
