2010 McLaren P11 spotted winter testing in Sweden

Now when McLaren and Mercedes are almost done with jointly produced McLaren SLR, the company can go own with their own supercar project. This wedge-shaped mid-engine rear-wheel supercar codenamed P11 will go against the Lamborghini Gallardo and Ferrari F430.

Power will come very likely from a mid-mounted 6.2-liter V8 AMG engine producing around 550 hp.

0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) will take less than four seconds, while the stop speed is around 200 mph (320 km/h). Superior braking will be handled by ceramic brakes. P11 weighs around 2,650 lbs (1200 kg) thanks to carbon fiber chassis and body.

McLaren P11 will go on sale very likely beginning of 2010 with a price tag around $200,000 -$300,000.
