2010 Audi A5/S5 Cabriolet unveiled ahead of 2009 Geneva Auto Show

Audi has released quick details(US data) for the all-new Audi A5 and S5 Cabriolet.

World auto show debut is at Geneva auto show in March, 2009. In the states new A5/S5 Cabriolet will go on sale in Fall 2009 as a 2010 model year. Launch of the A5/S5 Cabriolet replaces the A4/S4 Cabriolet. Audi has not released pricing information yet.

The A5 product line is now expanded to include Cabriolet models with three powerful and fuel-efficient powertrains (2.0 TFSI 4 cylinder, 3.2 FSI V6, 3.0 TFSI V6 with supercharged technology). Europeans will likely see the same gasoline and diesel engines found in the current A5.

A5/S5 Cabriolet gets a cloth top not the increasingly popular retractable hard top. Cloth convertible top features Audi Acoustic Roof technology so you can be sure that inside is everything quiet if you decide to use the roof. Interior is typical Audi with simple and modern design. Compared to the A4 Cabriolet it has a longer wheelbase which should translate into a more comfortable ride.
