Nissan GT-R with with its official 0-60 mph time in 3.5 seconds has been a very impressive number. Lets face it, 0-60 mph time is always the number people talk about when it comes to supercars and their performance.
MY2009 (US MY2010) will come with increased horsepower, changes to handling and revised software in the transmission control unit.
These changes are already on sale in Nissan’s domestic market and will be on sale in the U.S. and Australia soon after.
As the changes to transmission usually lead to better performance numbers, Nissan engineers at the Tochigi Assembly plant put the new 2009 GT-R on a test at their own track.
Surprise, suprise as Nissan’s test driver clocked a 3.3 second time on a 0-60mph run in a standard 2009 Nissan GT-R.
Nissan has not made it official yet, but it is expected that the official announcement should come out soon.
